q. does the price include airfare?

No.  Prices are per person and include transport to and from the airport, 3 meals per day with exception of one dinner off-site, all taxes and gratuities, 2x daily yoga a salsa dance lesson and a cooking class.

q. what airport do we fly into?

Cancun International Airport.  Once you register for the retreat further details will be given on booking your airfare.

q. are food and beverages available between meals?

Yes, there is a full restaurant and bar open all day from 7 am to 10pm. In between meals, guests can order off our menu for an additional cost.  There are also many great restaurants with in walking distance.

q. what type of food will we have?

Amansala meals are fresh, healthy, plentiful and delicious.  We'll enjoy local fish and produce as well traditional Mexican fare.  We are able to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free etc, just let us know!

q. are beverages such as coffee, juice and smoothies available?

In the morning, brewed coffee and tea is served, at no cost. Every meal is served with a delicious fresh juice or flavored water of the day. Smoothies, juices and other drinks along with espresso margaritas, wine, beer, can be ordered at anytime, and added to your bill, and taken care of at the time of check out.

q. do you need a passport?

Yes. Make sure to double check that your passport is not expired or expiring.

q.can i use us dollars? are there atms?

Its best to arrive with cash in US dollars and get pesos out at the ATM in Cancun. Most restaurants and stores will take US dollars, though you will not get the best exchange rate. Many places will NOT take Credit Cards. We do not recommend using the smaller ATM’s around town as the fess are very high and there have been reports of fraud and identity theft.

q. are there safes in the rooms?

Every room has a computer size safe in their room which they are recommended to use for valuables. We are not responsible for valuables left outside of the safe and recommend any expensive jewelry or unnecessary items are not brought to Amansala.

q. do you have refrigerators in the rooms?

No. If you have specific food items or medicine that needs to be refrigerated, we have space available in our refrigerated in the kitchen.

q. do you have electricity 24 hours?

Yes. However being we are we are off the grid, there are times when we may lose power for a short time and appreciate your patience should this situation arise.

q. do i need a special convertor for my electronics?

All outlets are standard US wattage. 

q. can i bring my hairdryer?

No. We run on solar power and the surge from a hair dryer can blow our systems. 

q. are bikes available?

Yes, bikes at the discounted rate of $20 per person for the duration of their stay. If they do not choose to rent a bike at the time of check in, it is $10 a day to rent our bikes.

q. are shampoo, conditioner and soap provided in the rooms?

Yes, we provide a local honey based Mayan selection of amenities. Great gifts to bring home from our boutique.

q. do you have kayaks, or paddle boards?

We have kayaks. Paddleboards are available to rent down the beach.

q. is there wifi at the hotel?

Wireless interent is available for a fee in the common areas and in some of the rooms.

q. is there drinking water provided?

Yes, Amansala provides drinking water for all their guests.  You can not drink the water from the tap.
