Adept yogis use every situation as an advantage to succeed. Flying yogis use mind, intention and imagination to create "lift off" into deeper states of meditation...where every idea becomes possible. In this workshop, we will approach arm balances safely and progessively to build self-confidence. We'll playfully strengthen our core muscles, stabilize our shoulders and open up our hips. Once we master the essential alignment principles in basic poses such as downward dog and chaturanga, we will add the power of our intension and start to fly!! Expect a dash of anatomy, a sprinkling of partner work and a ton of fun!! All students must be free of serious injury.
